बच्चेदानी की गठान या fibroid के साथ गर्भ बहुत कम cases में ठहर पाता है।गर्भावस्था के दौरान बच्चेदानी में बड़ी fibroid के गठान होने पर या तो गर्भपात हो जाता है अथवा preterm या जल्दी डिलीवरी होने के chances होते हैं।गर्भावस्था के दौरान करीब 20 x 15 cm की गठान जो की 8 महीने के बच्चे के बराबर थी का सफल ऑपरेशन कर कर पूरे 9 महीने पर ऑपरेशन द्वारा डिलीवरी करवाने का यह case कुछ rare case में से एक है।अभी तक विश्व में करीब 20 से 22 cases ही reported है।
